Biju Cherayath

Designer, Art Instructor

Biju is an artist whose soul finds resonance in the elements of Earth.  Her creative process is deeply rooted in the textures, colours, and moods of the natural world—especially the ancient, story-laden surfaces of rocks and terrains. Through her work, she brings nature into a cosmopolitan lens, exploring how earthy tones and shifting colours can shape emotion and memory.

A graduate with both BFA and MFA from a leading art institute, Biju’s journey has taken her through the worlds of design, education, and now full-time practice. She has worked with companies like TCL and VBL Innovations, bringing her artistic sensibilities into design systems, and has taught at prestigious institutions such as the Jain Group of Institutions and Wigan & Leigh College. But her heart found its true home in the studio and the classroom, where she now works as a practising Visual Artist and Art Facilitator.

Operating out of her cosy nook in Frazer Town, Biju balances two enduring passions: creating compelling visual art and nurturing the creative spark in children and art enthusiasts alike. Her teaching is as intuitive and vibrant as her art—rooted in observation, joy, and the belief that everyone has an artist within.

Her canvases, much like her neighbourhood, are alive with contrast—nature and city, tradition and innovation, colour and silence. Each of her canvases invites the viewer to pause, to feel, and to connect with the elemental beauty that surrounds and shapes us all.
